A father's fight to recover
My name is Fadi Diab Mohammedin, and I am a father of six children from Gaza. During the war, I suffered severe injuries that changed my life. The toes on my right foot were amputated, and the nerves in my left foot were damaged. I now live with constant pain that often prevents me from sleeping or resting.
Every day, I worry about my health and the future of my six children, who depend on me. My injuries have made it extremely difficult to provide their basic needs, including food and medicine.
There is no greater heartbreak for a father than seeing his children hungry and being unable to feed them.
I have applied for a medical referral for treatment outside Gaza, but I am still waiting for approval. All I wish for is the chance to receive proper medical care and regain my ability to care for my children.
Why your help matters
I hope to raise $50,000 to help cover medical care and treatment, travel expenses if my medical referral is approved, and food, medicine and other essential needs for my six children.
I am not asking for the impossible. I am asking for a chance to heal and for my children to live with dignity and safety. Any contribution may ease our hardship. If you cannot give, sharing my story may help it reach someone who can. From the heart of Gaza, please do not leave me to face this pain alone. Thank you for your kindness.
